I found the staff super friendly and the room clean and tidy. It’s just a short stroll to the Piece Hall and the Central Library, which made my city explorations a breeze during my stay.

great central hub for park views and local attractions
I really enjoyed the short walks to both The Piece Hall, just a few steps away, and the Square Chapel Theatre, which was only a quick 10-minute stroll from the hotel. the welcoming staff made my stay even more pleasant and accommodating.

Loved the cozy location right by the train station! The staff were super friendly 😊, but my room was a bit dated and there were issues with the heating. decent for a short stay.

Clean and comfortable hotel with friendly staff, ideally located near the railway station and local attractions. Free parking is a nice touch, but the rooms could use some updating, and the absence of a lift makes it challenging for those with mobility issues.

stayed for a night and the room was super clean, liked the location right by the train station. check in was easy and the staff were really friendly. it was nice to have a choice of rooms. everything was tidy n comfy enough for a good night's sleep.
only downside was some noise from the heating system early morning and there was no breakfast offered on weekdays, which was kinda annoying.

It was just a good match for a weekend rest in Halifax at a good price. Jack at the front desk was super helpful, making sure we had the right room for our family. For anyone with kids, check out the family rooms. they worked great for us.

The location is a standout feature, with easy access to local attractions and train services. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the friendly and helpful staff. the lack of air conditioning made for a warm night, though a fan was provided. Breakfast could have offered more options, as it was rather basic. it’s an excellent choice for budget travelers.

Check-in went smoothly, and the staff greeted me warmly. The hotel’s location is perfect, just a quick walk to The Piece Hall and the train station. My room had a great layout, with a lounge area that made it feel spacious. the room itself needed some attention. Stains on the furniture were noticeable, and the bathroom had mold issues that were hard to ignore. The noise from the taxi rank outside was disruptive through the night, making it tough to rest. Breakfast was decent, with freshly cooked options, although the wait was a bit long. WiFi could use improvement. it was weak during my stay. it’s an okay option for a quick getaway, but some updating is definitely needed.
